Our next Weekend
Workshops are:
31
July & 1 August, 2010
4
& 5 September, 2010
If
you're an absolute beginner, or play by ear or just want to
brush up on their sight reading - a Weekend Workshop is for
you.
You'll
learn all the basics: how to read & understand music, how to
find notes on the keyboard, and play with both hands together.
These skills are a great foundation for learning other musical
instrument, including voice.
Join
the thousands of adults who have experienced one of our fun and
educational weekend seminars.
The
weekends run 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday from our Hawthorn
studio. Morning and afternoon tea and a complimentary lunch
at a local cafe are included, as are all books & materials
you'll need - even a pen!
Adults
of all ages & backgrounds have successfully completed our
Weekend Workshop. You won't go home a concert pianist, but
you will impress family and friends with your ability to play pop,
blues and classical music. If you practice a bit on Saturday night,
you'll leave on Sunday able to play the first page of Bach's
Prelude in C... slowly, but playing by reading the
notes!
