We don't just teach you 4 'basic' chords we teach you how to
make ANY chord for yourself. It isn't technical - we use
simple, direct language and get you playing what you learn straight
away.
- Read basic lead sheets (C, F, G, Am) and figured bass
progressions (I-IV-V-iv)
- Learn the 'flavours' of chords: major, minor, augmented &
diminished.
- Explore different ways to 'strum' or break up chords to suit
different music styles.
- Turn your chords upside down and inside out to get even more
variety.
- Add some zing with 4ths, 6th, 7ths & 9ths.
Cheating with chords is demonstrated on the keyboard/piano but
can be applied to guitar too.
There are no pre-requisites. This course suits total
beginners and experienced players. Great for guitarists who are
sick of a "one chord per week" approach. Great for singers who want
to accompany themselves without having to spend years learning
piano 'from scratch'.
