Our beloved
Bernstein...
We are, regretfully,
parting with our 1997 Bernstein Applause 132 cm (the previous model
to the just-released 132cm Ovation)
Why? It's too much piano for our very small room - especially since
we got rid of the carpet and polished the boards. In either a
slightly bigger space, or one with carpet, this will be a wonderful
instrument.
Our Bernstein has been well-cared for, played under supervision by
our (mostly) adult music students, and is in excellent condition
with a full service history. The walnut finish has a few faint
scratches, but that's all.
The tone is lovely: bright and warm. The action is resilient, with
NO 'sticky notes'. It has been tuned, regulated and voiced as
needed.
Inspection will delight.
Offers over $5,500
considered. Frankly, we'd be mad to part with it for less.
Did you
know?
- A high-quality upright
piano is often a better investment - and will produce a better
sound - than a low-quality grand piano?
- A high-quality second
hand piano (from a reliable source) is a very cost-effective
investment.
As the saying goes...
the most-cost effective new car you can buy is a 10 year old
BMW.
And the most
cost-effective new piano you can buy is this 12 year old Bernstein
piano.
